THE GOOD

I already have 114 more rebounds than anyone else. Evil's Native Tongues is 2nd in points scored thanks to 7 players averaging 17 points or more (Baron, D. Howard, J. Howard, Turkoglu, Gasol, Gordon, and Roy). I'm 4th in assists, but I just picked up Jason Williams last week, so I'll easily move up in that category. I'm in the middle of the pack in steals and blocks, but I have plenty of room for improvement.

I started John Salmons for the first 10 games of the season, but he's been on my bench ever since. The injury to Kev-Mart obviously makes Salmons a solid starter once again. Gordon, Roy, Bargnani, and Alston can't shoot much worse than they have thus far. Once they get hot, my threes and shooting %'s should rise nicely. Pau Gasol is starting to turn it around, which is a very good sign for my team. Pau and the Man-Beast form to give me the best center duo in the league.

THE BAD

After combining for 4.2 threes per game last season, Gordon and Alston are making just 2.9 early on. Josh Howard and Josh Childress combined for 2.3 steals and 1.5 blocks per game last season, but are averaging just 1.6 steals and .7 blocks combined this season. Bargnani and Walton haven't played as much as I thought they would, and their production has suffered as a result. Brandon Roy is shooting just 74.2% from the line after making 83.8% of his freebies last year. Pau Gasol had a very slow start, and my team's FG% hasn't been nearly as good as it should be.

OUTLOOK

Evil's Native Tongues is a solid team that has yet to reach it's potential. I have a chance at winning this league, but there are some very strong teams out there. Team #1 has Kaman (big surprise), J-Smoov, Deron, Paul Pierce, Durant and Grant Hill. However, he also has Dunleavy (who can't shoot any better) and Peja (who I don't think will make it thru a full season). Team #3 had actually been in 1st place for a good while. He has several guys who have played well early on: Nash, Parker, Calderon, Kev-Mart, AK47, R. Brewer, Moon, B. Miller, and Big Z. Of course, the injury to Kev-Mart is really going to hurt him and Big Z's stats will only go downhill from here...
